After days of laying down millions of grains of sand to create a mandala pattern, the visiting monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery dismantled the design in Davies Center this afternoon. Experience the intricate art of Mandala Sand Painting by Tibetan Buddhist monks of the Drepung Loseling Monestary. Join us in-person in RiverCenter's lobby or livestream on our Facebook page as they construct the mandala from September 8 - 14 during our Box Office hours. Don’t miss the Opening Ceremony on September 8 at 3:00 PM and Closing Ceremony on September 14 at 12:30 PM, where the sands will be dispersed into the Chattahoochee River.
