In spring 1971, The Kinks released a soundtrack album written for the film 'Percy'. 'God's Children' was used as a lead single, seen here in the opening credits following the film's protagonist Edwin (Hywell Bennett) through city streets. Why is the main character of a film called Percy named Edwin, you ask? The film's plot follows Edwin as he suffers a freak accident that results in him receiving the worlds first successful transplant of a particular male appendage - which he names Percy. | The
