Emmer update! Emmer has Swimmer’s Syndrome - an uncommon condition in kittens hindering the use of the back legs due to malformation of the limbs. It can be corrected with physical therapy if caught early, and lucky for Emmer, she has made so much progress already. When she first entered the shelter, she dragged her legs behind her, and soon she won’t even need the support tape. She’s well on her way to walking straight and being adoptable!
