Developers say Pebble Mine won’t hurt Alaska's Bristol Bay

Today marks an important step forward in strengthening safeguards for Bristol Bay! Alaska’s Bristol Bay is home to the world’s largest wild salmon fishery, with its most vital watersheds located near Lake Iliamna. The Pedro Bay Corporation, an Alaska Native corporation, has long protected this region’s fish and wildlife habitat and cultural resources. Now, The Conservation Fund’s Pedro Bay Rivers project, supported by NFWF and Walmart’s Acres for America program, is helping conserve 58,000 acres of critical habitat. This collaborative effort strengthens the ecological health o
