Jan 27, 2023 · To change your Character Portraits, you will first need a BMP image file that has a width of 624px, and height of 804px. Then go into your Black Desert local files. The image files for your character portraits can be found in the “FaceTexture” folder. Find the original character portrait that appears in game.

If you visit Kakuo at the Splashing Point with a Lv. 56 or higher character, you can complete daily quests to receive portraits that you can place in your residence!

Dec 20, 2023 · A: Navigate to "Documents" --> "Black Desert" --> "FaceTexture". You should see the portraits of your characters already, simply copy the name of the character you want to swap portrait with.

I was thinking of ai generated portraits. I tried using some but its generic fantasy tropes thats not bdo at all.

Jan 27, 2023 · Introduction You can change the character portraits/icons that are displayed on your character swap screen by going to the Beauty Salon (F4) and pressing [SPACE] or clicking the “Take Portrait” button. This takes a snapshot of your character and will automatically update the portrait image.
