Foxconn (Hon Hai Technology Group) is partnering with NVIDIA to develop highly automated and autonomous vehicle platforms. The world’s largest electronics manufacturer has partnered with NVIDIA to bring its next generation of electric vehicles into the autonomous era.

Foxconn Smart EV will be built on NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion™ 9, a next-generation platform for autonomous automotive fleets, powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Thor™, its future automotive systems-on-a-chip. Foxconn Smart Manufacturing robotic systems will be built on the NVIDIA Isaac™ autonomous mobile robot platform.

19 November 2024, Taipei– Foxconn announced today it is collaborating with NVIDIA to build digital twins to reshape the future of manufacturing processes and supply chain management while opening new pathways for global deployment of advanced facilities and enhancing corporate resilience.

Using NVIDIA’s GB200 NVL72 platform, the manufacturing giant’s supercomputer will transform AI research, healthcare, smart factories, robotics and smart city innovations. NVIDIA and Foxconn are building Taiwan’s largest supercomputer, marking a milestone in the island’s AI advancement.
