President Donald Trump said he's a fan of actress Sydney Sweeney's much-debated jeans ad campaign ‒ after hearing she's a registered Republican.

What started as a buzzy campaign starring one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actresses quickly spiraled into a sprawling cultural debate.

White House spokesman Steve Cheung, has also come out against critics of the ads. “Cancel culture run amok,” he wrote on X. “This warped, moronic, and dense liberal thinking is a big reason why Americans voted the way they did in 2024. They're tired of this bullshit.”
