Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) follows Peter Parker, who asks Dr. Strange to erase the world’s knowledge of his Spider-Man identity. When the spell goes wrong, the multiverse fractures, bringing villains and heroes from alternate realities into Parker’s universe.

The MCU’s next Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, is going to have a very different status quo than its predecessors, but it’s not going to swing things up too much. The Hulk and the Punisher are going to share the screen with Peter Parker this time around.

In addition to Holland, it was previously announced that Mark Ruffalo would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Bruce Banner/the Hulk in Brand New Day, as well as Michael Mando as the Scorpion and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. Sadie Sink was also added to the cast.
