Idaho State Police have issued an Amber Alert for two missing teenagers, who are believed to be headed to a Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints group in Mendon, Utah.

Two teenagers went missing from eastern Idaho, according to local authorities, and their mother says she believes they left with members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FLDS).

The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a polygamist sect run by Warren Jeffs, the self-proclaimed prophet and convicted pedophile. In 2011, Jeffs was convicted on two counts of child sexual abuse and sentenced to life in prison.
