Jack Draper wrapped up his first tournament as a top-5 player in the quarter-final of the Rome Masters. The 23-year-old faced his good friend Carlos Alcaraz and suffered a 6-4, 6-4 loss.
Jack Draper was beaten 6-4 6-4 by world number three Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-finals of the Italian Open. The British number one was looking to climb to fifth in the ATP rankings with a win, but he was ultimately undone in straight sets as Alcaraz saved six of the eight break points he faced to advance to the last four in Rome.

It is Alcaraz who leads the head-to-head record 3-2, coming out on top earlier this year when Draper had to retire from their Australian Open clash, but the Briton got his revenge on his way to winning the title at Indian Wells.
