However, disaster seemed to strike when Doncic collided with a teammate and appeared to injure his knee. To that point, he had posted 26 points and five assists in the first half, and he was forced to leave the game.

On Saturday, Doncic suffered an injury during a Slovenian national team warm-up game against Latvia. Doncic is currently preparing for the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket tournament.

According to Dan Woike of The Athletic, Doncic avoided any serious injury as he was able to walk off on his own to the locker room. He is back on the bench with his team. "Luka Dončić was able to walk to the locker room on his own during a Slovenian game but he was favoring his right leg after a teammate was pushed into him.
