Miller is now another offensive tackle earning more than $20 million per season. That's probably the starting point for negotiations between Cross and the Seahawks.

Charles Cross left training camp to have surgery in Los Angeles on a dislocated ring finger he practiced with through the first week of Seattle's camp. Coach Mike Macdonald said following practice Thursday his four-year starter at left tackle should be back practicing by the end of August.
