The Spectrum News 13 team is excited to announce Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School senior Brian Wolfe as the Brevard County recipient, naming him Spectrum News High School Scholar.

Overall, 12% of their students are economically disadvantaged. West Shore Jr./Sr. High School, one of the top 10 schools in the state, had a graduating class of 138 seniors in spring 2024.

Visually impaired from birth, Max Teply is a senior at Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School in Merritt Island and is the basketball team’s statistician.

Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High in Cocoa Beach was ranked at No. 83 among Florida high schools, with its students having a math proficiency of 50% and a reading proficiency of 71%.
