W ith the sixth pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards took sharpshooting off-guard and overall flamethrower Tre Johnson, a special talent that has the capability to immediately improve the franchise's dreadful offense.

The Jazz used their pick on Rutgers forward Ace Bailey, a prospect the Wizards liked and were frequently tied to in the pre-draft process, yanking him off the board right just before Washington went on the clock.

On Wednesday night, Winger and Dawkins made another move. They traded the draft rights to 18th pick Walter Clayton Jr. to the Utah Jazz for the draft rights to 21st pick Will Riley, the 43rd pick, a 2031 second-round pick and a 2032 second-round pick.
