Star weekend has officially arrived and the NBA action will kick off with the Rising Stars tournament at the Chase Center in San Francisco Friday night. Here's what to know about when to watch the Rising Stars,

Honorary coaches Tim Hardaway Sr., Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin drafted their respective teams on Feb. 4, each selecting seven players to build their squad. Jeremy Lin will coach the G-League team that will play in the event. Richmond had the first pick where he chose Houston Rockets second-year guard Amen Thompson.

Fans had nothing but bad things to say about this year’s NBA All-Star Game, and the official ratings for the event are painting a very similar picture.

Viewership for last weekend’s NBA All-Star Game was near all-time lows. Just 4.718 million basketball fans tuned in to TNT/TBS/TruTV for the game on Sunday night, per Front Office Sports’ Ryan Glasspiegel.
