Wimbledon underdog Pedro Martinez was dealt a tough hand during his Centre Court clash with Jannik Sinner on Saturday. As if taking on the top seed was not a daunting enough challenge already, Martinez did so while battling a crippling shoulder issue which significantly restricted his service motion.

Jannik Sinner continued his cruise through the Wimbledon draw as he brushed aside a hampered Pedro Martinez to reach the last-16. It was a case of the calm after the storm on Centre Court, which had been at fever pitch on Friday night for Emma Raducanu’s thrilling showdown with Aryna Sabalenka.

W orld no. 1 Jannik Sinner is safely through into the fourth round at Wimbledon. The Italian faced Pedro Martinez in the third round and earned a dominant 6-1, 6-3, 6-1 triumph in an hour and 55 minutes under roof on Centre Court.
