Injured Milwaukee police officer Christopher McCray visited District Two on Thursday, July 3, according to the department's Facebook page. McCray along with his partner Officer Kendall Corder was shot in an ambush on June 26.

Officer James Rodman said a resident called police just after 7 a.m., June 30 after they saw a mother duck frantically pacing and quacking loudly.

The accused shooter, 22-year-old Tremaine Jones, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and attempted homicide in the shooting of Corder and his partner, Christopher McCray, near 25th and Garfield that Thursday night. McCray survived the shooting.
