MAXWELL MEETING: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will continue his interview with Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell today as the Justice Department seeks the release of grand jury transcripts from the case against the late financier and convicted sex offender.
Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence at a federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met with her on Thursday in an attempt to quell a firestorm over the Trump administration’s backtracking on promises to release additional records from the Epstein investigation.
Representative Dan Goldman, a New York Democrat, Tuesday on X: "DOJ plans to interview Ghislaine Maxwell. But why now? Ghislaine is looking for a pardon, and who would be better to give it to her than a co-conspirator now in the Oval Office. Any testimony she provides must be accompanied by the release of the files to corroborate it."
