When Donald Trump visited Florida's 'Alligator Alcatraz', he dropped a big hint that many such detention centers might come up in other US states. Trump said facility "could be" a model for future such facilities and his administration is working to bring such facilities in other Republican states.

With Florida's so-called Alligator Alcatraz now open, another migrant detention facility roughly 400 miles north of the original is already planned in the Everglades.
