Season 2 of “Andor” will has 12 episodes that will be split into three-episode mini-arcs airing over four weeks. Each block of episodes will cover roughly a year of the timeline leading up to the fateful events of “Rogue One.”

The three episodes dropping Tuesday gel to form what’s basically a 2 1/2 hour movie, with Cassian stuck among rival rebel factions.
