Dwarven Plate stands above many other armor types in D&D 5e for its sheer toughness. It gives a magical +2 bonus on top of the normal Armor Class of plate armor.

Although players are relieved to know that Mithril will be coming to the game, many are a bit disappointed by the revelation that this armor update is still months away.
