Khris Middleton thanked Milwaukee for helping shape him “into the person and player I am today” a week after the Bucks traded the three-time All-Star to the Washington Wizards.

Khris Middleton, a man whose No. 22 jersey may hang in the rafters of Fiserv Forum someday, wrote a farewell message to Milwaukee Friday.

Following his trade to the Washington Wizards from the Milwaukee Bucks last week, Khris Middleton penned a heartfelt goodbye to the Bucks fans. The former Bucks forward posted the letter on his social media accounts.

An era ended in Milwaukee at the trade deadline when the Bucks traded Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards in a deal that netted Kyle Kuzma. Middleton spent 12 seasons, nearly his whole career, with the Bucks which included three All-Star appearances and an NBA championship in 2021.
