A Southwest Michigan man is the winner of a $1 million Powerball prize, the Michigan Lottery reported Friday. Robert Cusumano, 65, of Cass County, matched five white balls in the March 1 drawing: 02-23-36-44-49.

The most recent big Mega Millions winner was a lucky lottery ticket holder in Arizona, who struck gold on Jan. 18, winning a $113 million jackpot. According to the lottery, only four tickets matched all six Mega Millions numbers in 2024 – the fewest jackpots won in a calendar year since the game began in 2002.
