The operator of the cruise ship at the center of a hantavirus outbreak has told The Associated Press that it expects to know by the end of the week if the vessel will keep to its schedule for the coming months.

An American on the repatriation flight began showing symptoms of hantavirus and another "tested mildly PCR positive for the Andes virus," the Department of Health and Human Services says.
