The original kiss cam footage from the Coldplay concert on July 16 went viral and prompted a tidal wave of memes ( even from big brands such as Aldi's ), as well as fake statements claiming to be from Byron, Coldplay and someone claiming to have recently been fired by the company, among others.

The light-hearted segment, featuring the Phillie Phanatic mascot, playfully referenced the now-infamous kiss cam scandal involving Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot, which took place at a Coldplay concert earlier this month.
