Pop star Shakira has been hospitalized in Peru with a stomach issue, forcing her to cancel her Sunday show in the Andean country, the singer said on social media.

Shakira was hospitalized on February 16 in Lima, leading to an abrupt postponement of her concert. The singer revealed on social media that she had to visit the ER due to a sudden abdominal issue.

Colombian superstar Shakira said Monday that she will resume her world tour and perform in Lima, Peru, on Monday evening, following the cancellation of a concert over the weekend due to a stomach illness.

Shakira has confirmed that her concert in Colombia will not be held, following a statement from the concert promoter.
