Edmonton goalie Stuart Skinner left Tuesday’s night’s game in Boston late in the first period after a hard collision with Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov, but was back on the ice for the start of the second.
“They were certainly playing at a higher level right from the drop of the puck. They won the majority of races to pucks. they were quicker to pucks, won more one-on-one battles,” Bruins interim coach Joe Sacco said. “We pretty much got what we deserved tonight because of the way we played.
Adam Henrique scored in each of the first two periods and Connor McDavid netted a breakaway goal to lead the visiting Edmonton Oilers past the Boston Bruins 4-0 on Tuesday night.
The Edmonton Oilers had a dominant 4-0 win over the Boston Bruins, but if there was one stain on an otherwise perfect game, it was the lack of response after Zadorov's hit on Stuart Skinner.

Oilers netminder Stuart Skinner left Tuesday’s game against the Boston Bruins after getting hit by defenceman Nikita Zadorov. The incident happened with five and a half minutes left in the first period when Zadorov was driving to the net.
Another comeback win, this time in Colorado, seals a successful road trip — and the Oilers' place among the NHL's elite.
