In the wake of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, the music community has stepped up with financial aid from MusiCares and other forms of monetary and emotional support. A musical event has been set up to aid the relief efforts following the deadly Los Angeles wildfires ...and SO many of your fave performers are getting involved. The FireAid benefit concert is set to take place on January 30 at 6 p.m. PST in Los Angeles, with both the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum hosting the event. Oh, and the lineup? Unmatched.
There will be two separate shows happening at the same time in Los Angeles. One event is happening at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood. It’s a new arena near Manhattan Beach. The other show will take place at the Kia Forum (aka the Los Angeles Forum).
Proceeds will benefit a host of California fire relief organizations and initiatives under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation. The Steve Ballmer-owned Los Angeles Clippers, who just moved into Intuit Dome last fall, are said to be “covering the millions in expenses associated with the event.”
The organization established by the concert giant in 2020 will help performing musicians, live music crew and live music industry workers affected by the blazes.
