SEOUL (Reuters) -North Korean state media KCNA criticised on Wednesday South Korean President Lee Jae Myung for his remarks on denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula during his visit to the U.S. this week.

President Donald Trump insisted that South Korea will stick to the terms of its recent tariff agreement, including hundreds of billions of dollars of investment in the US, despite lobbying efforts by President Lee Jae Myung during their first in-person meeting.

Washington’s increasing focus on Beijing is straining the decades-old alliance between South Korea and the United States.
