Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani took another step forward in his recovery on Tuesday, throwing his second bullpen spring training session in Glendale, Arizona. The two-way sensation is working his way back to the mound after undergoing elbow surgery in 2023,

Shohei Ohtani took the mound for the first time this spring on Saturday. The Dodgers’ two-way superstar threw 14 pitches in his return to the rubber, all two-seam and four-seam fastballs, in front of 1,000 fans in Glendale, Arizona, according to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale.

Shohei Ohtani is ready to pitch for the first time as a Dodger, but it may not all come right away according to Dave Roberts.
