The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is warning of EBT scams occurring across the state. In a post made on Facebook, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office stated they have received multiple reports of Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card skimming and of thieves using EBT cards in other places.

The Sheriff's Office has received information that residents are receiving bogus calls or voicemails from someone claiming to be from the TGSO and needing to speak to them, officials said on Facebook.
