It was old faces in familiar places for the Atlanta Braves on Monday after they activated right-hander Ian Anderson to the active roster and signed outfielder Eddie Rosario to a major league contract.

Well, it certainly didn’t take long to get from Ian Anderson’s first stint with the Braves to his second stint.

The Braves and Angels announced this afternoon that Atlanta has claimed right-hander Ian Anderson off waivers from Anaheim after he was designated for assignment by the latter club earlier in the week. This morning’s DFA of Jesse Chavez cleared a 40-man roster spot, so no corresponding move was necessary to complete the transaction.
