WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The future of downtown Wichita is already being planned. The planning and design firm Sasaki is partnering with Downtown Wichita to develop an action plan for 2035.

The conversion is part of the city’s Downtown Streets Conceptual Plan, which was approved by the council in 2023.
