Sylvan Beach, N.Y. — A new waterfront vacation destination featuring 70 waterside cottages and boats for rent opened today in Sylvan Beach on the east end of Oneida Lake.

The Oneida Nation, which owns the park, is ordering residents to vacate the mobile home park because it plans to “redevelop” the land on the southeast shore of Oneida Lake.
