ACLU of R.I. lawyers filed a class-action lawsuit after a 2021 data breach affected 22,000 people, including RIPTA employees, retirees, and other state workers.

Any person whose personal information was accessed, stolen or compromised as a result of the security breach has about one month to file a claim.
