When Ted DiBiase Jr. and Cody Rhodes were growing up in the South as sons of prominent professional wrestlers, they were convinced that their fathers had one of the coolest jobs in the world.

DiBiase has made it clear he has one thing on his mind – championship glory – which he got his first taste of by winning the World Tag Team Titles alongside Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions 2008.

Rhodes recalled a match from the June 14, 2011 episode of SmackDown where he teamed up with Ted DiBiase Jr. and Wade Barrett to face Daniel Bryan, Ezekiel Jackson and Sin Cara.

DiBiase Jr. wrestled for WWE from 2006 until 2013. His most notable on-screen role was as a member of The Legacy, a faction of second-generation wrestlers like himself, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.

Cody was already on the main roster by the time he teamed up with Ted DiBiase, Jr (the Jr was later dropped), but it was adding in Randy Orton, Manu, and Sim Snuka that things were starting to form.
