Microsoft is investigating a widespread and ongoing Microsoft 365 outage impacting Office web apps and the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Are they widgets? Are they notifications? Both... and neither, sort of. These new tools for Microsoft 365 People, Calendar, and File Search are now in beta.

Microsoft has fixed a known issue that caused Microsoft 365 applications and Classic Outlook to crash on Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2019 systems.

Microsoft is adding a new feature to boost startup and loading performance on Microsoft 365 apps like Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

“Microsoft 365 apps will no longer be supported on Windows 10 after it reaches end of support on October 14, 2025,” says the page.

Current Office/Microsoft 365 Enterprise customers who want to keep using the Office apps and Teams together can continue to subscribe to both at their current prices.
