The birth of Max Verstappen's first child is expected to take place in April, a Formula One insider has revealed. Verstappen and his partner and Kelly Piquet announced they were expecting a child last year, with the Red Bull ace having previously said he won't be missing a race, even if it clashes with the birth.

Verstappen acknowledged there had been improvements to his car in the offseason but said it was too soon to know how it compared to McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes.
