High pressure will bring the sunshine back Wednesday. Temperatures will be much cooler than where they've been with highs near 60°.

Detroit's weather this week includes sunshine, light winds, and potential showers with high temperatures in the low 60s to low 70s.

Detroit's high temperatures on Tuesday should range from 59-70 across the region, then reach about 58 on Wednesday, the agency said. The high should land at about 60 on Thursday, according to the NWS forecast. Meteorologists with the agency said frost is possible on Wednesday and Thursday night.

Autumn air has arrived and temps will tumble tonight into the 30s for most locations. Highs will be cool again on Thursday in the upper 50s to near 60°.

Rain showers and a few thunderstorms are possible in Metro Detroit Monday night and into Tuesday. Much colder temperatures will also move into the region this week.
