California Attorney General Rob Bonta told CNN earlier this year there were “some indications that arson is a possibility that we have to be open to.”

Authorities have made an arrest in connection with the deadly and devastating Palisades Fire that ravaged part of Los Angeles earlier this year, according to multiple news reports on Oct. 8.

Cooper noted that the ATF, working with local fire and police departments in the Los Angeles area, conducted DNA samples, scientific tests and more to get to the bottom of how the fire started.
