Several members of a Copperas Cove-area family remain hospitalized after they were wounded in a late-night shooting at a Port Aransas beach over the weekend.

According to an arrest report from the Nueces Co. Sheriff's office, Ernest Castillo fired gunshots at a crowd of people on the beach as he was pulling away in a Chevy truck around 11:39 p.m.
