Vanderbilt Commodores star QB Diego Pavia proposes one key change to the current CFP model after missing out on the playoff.

The Vols, along with Auburn and Mississippi State, are the three opponents that will be on the Commodores' schedule every year. Vanderbilt will also face Arkansas in 2026 for the first time since 2018. In the SEC's new scheduling format, teams will face their non-permanent opponents once every other year.

Nickel shot 8 for 15 on 3-pointers, surpassing his previous best of seven, which came in an 86-84 win at Texas A&M on Feb. 26. It was the third game this season that Nickel led Vanderbilt in scoring and the second time he made six or more 3s.
