U NION (WGME) -- A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the death of a Maine paddleboarder. A spokesperson for the Maine Attorney General's Office confirmed the charge on Friday morning.
An arrest has been made in the murder of Sunshine Stewart, a paddleboarder who went missing in Maine earlier this month.
Police have released few details about the killing of Sunshine Stewart, whose body was found near Crawford Pond on July 3.
Maine State Police officials also revealed the cause of death for Sunshine "Sunny" Stewart, of Tenants Harbor, was strangulation and blunt force trauma.
One best friend from childhood told the Bangor Daily News that he never saw Young bully people, while another said Young would bully kids since preschool.
