The buzz coming out of UFC 317 hasn’t slowed down. After Ilia Topuria’s dominant performance in the main event, speculation over who might challenge him next has only intensified. Among the most talked-about names is Paddy Pimblett—who fans and fighters alike have mentioned as a potential next opponent.

Following a rumor that he was competing this August at UFC 319, Paddy Pimblett took to social media to make sure everyone knew that was false.

Pimblett, who is coming off third-round TKO win over Michael Chandler in April, is ranked No. 10 in the official UFC lightweight rankings after Topuria's entrance following UFC 317. Gaethje, who is 2-2 in his past four fights, is No. 4.
