MONROE COUNTY, MI - A 31-year-old man died Saturday, June 14 after his dirt bike crashed into a train moving through southeast Michigan. Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough reports the crash occurred around 9:27 p.m. on Sterns Road west of Suder Road in Erie Township, about 50 miles south of Detroit.

The fatal crash in downtown Edmonds blocked ferry and train service for a couple hours. Authorities were investigating what happened.
