Egg prices are soaring across the country, with some stores charging over $10 for a dozen — but shoppers have found one grocery store where the prices have stayed relatively affordable: Trader Joe’s.

The latest decision by Trader Joe's to limit the number of egg purchases per customer may help prevent shoppers from stock-piling eggs, giving everyone a fair chance of buying eggs. "We hope these limits will help to ensure that as many of our customers who need eggs are able to purchase them when they visit Trader Joe’s," the company said.

To hatch eggs, you need to incubate them around 100 degrees Fahrenheit, assuring the temperature doesn’t drop below 99 degrees. Prior to their incubation, the egg can be stored for a maximum of seven days in a cooler area, this explains their ability to potentially survive the shelves of Trader Joe’s.
