Texas AG Ken Paxton accused Beto O'Rourke's Powered by People of deceptive fundraising. O'Rourke vowed to keep fighting and plans a Fort Worth rally.

A Texas judge blocked former Texas Democratic Rep. Beto O’Rourke from supporting Democratic Texas lawmakers who fled the state to deprive Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) of his needed quorum to pass a redistricting plan.

The order came at the request of Attorney General Ken Paxton, who O’Rourke accused in a separate lawsuit of going on a “fishing expedition, constitutional rights be damned.”
