Comedian and Eagles super fan Shane Gillis took a shot at the Dallas Cowboys and parodied the 'Tush Push' at the 2025 ESPYs.
Shane Gillis’ edgy monologue Wednesday night at the ESPYs made for some awkward moments inside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. No one was safe from Gillis, who stars in the Netflix series “Tires,” took aim at Donald Trump, Caitlan Clark and Bill Belichick to name a few.
An emotional Katie Schumacher-Cawley accepted the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance with her husband and children looking on. The Penn State women’s volleyball coach was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in September. She continued coaching without missing a practice and became the first woman to guide a team to the NCAA national championship.
The ESPYS awards show took place last night at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and the event that’s put on by ESPN (thus Disney) was broadcast live on ABC. For those that are familiar with Shane Gillis’ typical material… it doesn’t exactly always line up with the values and “safety guardrails” of a Disney production.
