Alabama football defensive coordinator Kane Wommack has a new counterpart this season. Even though Nick Sheridan remains on staff, Ryan Grubb has joined up as the Crimson Tide’s primary offensive coordinator.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— Alabama offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb thinks the Crimson Tide's quarterback room is coming along, so much so that he sees improvement already from the beginning of fall camp and has no plans to divert snaps going into week two.

In Grubb's mind, physicality works in all shapes and sizes in an Alabama running back room that is returning its leading back in Miller, but for an offense that is losing its main performer in the ground game: quarterback Jalen Milroe.
