The Seahawks did not make any moves on the offensive line, or anywhere else, on the second day of free agency, much to the consternation of many fans.

The massive needs across the offensive line took a backseat to Darnold's courting. Schneider did make one signing, adding versatile depth linemen Josh Jones via a one-year contract. The Seahawks need to focus their attention on the O-line.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported that Metcalf was looking for a "more stable quarterback situation" before the Seahawks traded Smith to the Raiders. The team could meet with him to discuss their plans in hopes of still reaching an agreement on a new contract.

The Seattle Seahawks are trading two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Geno Smith to the Raiders for a 2025 third-round pick. It is a reunion for head coach Pete Carroll and Smith, who previously worked together at Seattle.
